Building

You are the leverage: the pod math, the arbitrage, the cadence, and the mid-sprint re-scope.

Class summary

The build block, taught as economics before mechanics. The pod structure and Maister’s leverage math explain why a team of juniors with agents and a senior reviewer works at all — and where the review ceiling actually sits. Then the arbitrage: the market is betting against entry-level work in AI-exposed occupations, and the pod is the counter-bet, because the measured gains land hardest on novices.

The operational half keeps leverage from turning into rubber-stamping: four weekly controls, a review trail where the reviewer can reconstruct why and not just what, and the mid-sprint re-scope — what to do when the plan you got signed no longer matches what you found.
